The Scole Phenomena
Cached from www.afterlife101.com/Scole_1.html

One of the most fascinating long-term demonstrations of psychic phenomena took place in the late 90's, and is known as the Scole Experiment. This is frequently acknowledged to be one of the strongest proofs of existence of the afterlife which exists. There are two comprehensive and complementary descriptions of these phenomena:

The Scole Experiment, Scientific Evidence for Life After Death, by Grant & Jane Solomon in association with the Scole Experimental Group, Judy Piatkus (Publishers) Ltd, 1999. (Amazon.com.uk link)
Back cover--The Scole Experiment chronicles the extraordinary results of a five-year investigation into life after death. At the beginning of 1993 four psychic researchers embarked on a series of experiments in the Norfolk village of Scole. The subsequent events were so astounding that senior members of the prestigious Society for Psychical Research asked to observe, test and record what took place. Those who attended the sessions at Scole came away convinced that discarnate intelligences were making direct contact with them. The incontrovertible evidence they witnessed included:
  • Handwriting, symbols and messages which appeared on factory-sealed, unopened photographic film
  • Objects, lights and solid beings which materialized before previously sceptical observers
  • Spirits who communicated instructions for the building of complex instruments and communication devices
  • Personal information about those present which was revealed to the group by discarnate intelligences
The Scole Experiment will finally convince you that there really is life after death.

The Scole Report, by Montague Keen, Arthur Ellison & David Fontana, Society for Psychical Research (SPR), 1999. SPR book ordering
Abstract--This report is the outcome of a three-year investigation of a Group claiming to receive both messages and materialised or physical objects from a number of collaborative spirit communicators. It has been conducted principally by three senior members of the Society for Psychical Research. In the course of over 20 sittings the investigators were unable to detect any direct indication of fraud or deception, and encountered evidence favouring the hypothesis of intelligent forces, whether originating in the human psyche or from discarnate sources, able to influence material objeccts and to convey associated maningful messages, both visual and aural.
The internet provides a rich set of information about the Scole phenomena:
  • An informal description of the Scole Report, written by one of the authors. ("http://moebius.psy.ed.ac.uk/~spr/scole_report.html")
  • Another Scole Report author provides an additional description ("http://www.datadiwan.de/SciMedNet/library/articlesN73+/N73Keen_Scoleevent.htm")
  • These are interesting extracts from the Scole Experiment book ("http://100megsfree4.com/farshores/scole.htm")
  • The Scole Report caused a great deal of controversy. This is one account of a debate in December 1999 on its contents ("http://www.bufora.org.uk/archive/Scole.htm")
  • An author, Montague Keen, defends his SPR report during the same debate ("http://www.psisci.force9.co.uk/articles/monty1.htm")
  • These are two articles by Victor Zammit which (1) accused SPR officials of bias against the Scole Report ("http://www.victorzammit.com/articles/scole1.html") and (2) provides an overall summary of the Scole phenomenona ("http://www.victorzammit.com/book/chapter05.html")

One of the most interesting phenomena was the impressive display of a wide variety of light activity ("http://www.afterlife101.com/Light_display.html">)

A careful review of the Scole phenomena and the high credibility of the participants can only lead to one conclusion: Humans survive physical death and have the capability to create physical actions in our 3D world that cannot be explained by contemporary physics.
